The Athletic Association would not be able to offer sports opportunities without the dedicated people who give their time to our programs. We have over 50 Program Volunteers and over 250 Coaches, yet we still need more!

This position is responsible for recruiting, training, schedule coordination (Ref Center or similar technology), table ref management, game card management and payroll for all basketball referees. This position recruits and trains new referees for the Training League, and ensures retention and recruiting and WC CYC Training for Trophy League Refs. The Assistant Director ensures a table ref is present every day of play, monitors game day activities, confirms that refs are scheduled for each game, collects game cards for payroll (coordinated with the Parish Office) and then forwards to the Basketball Coordinator responsible for recording game scores.
This position receives free basketball for all children, and meets the annual work duty requirement.

Director, Work Duty Compliance
This position is responsible for verifying, tracking and recording Work Duty compliance for all registered Ascension Sports Program families. He/she will collect the sign up sheets each week from the soccer field and gym. Once collected, the Director shall update the corresponding accounts in the registration system. Twice a month, he/she will update the public spreadsheet. All duties may be completed on their own schedule, as long as deadlines are met.
This position receives free sports for all children, and meets the annual work duty requirement.
