Ascension Athletic Association

The goal of the Ascension High School Basketball Program is to provide a program for our youth to continue to develop their skills and play basketball in a positive environment which promotes Christian values.

Who Can Play?

All boys and girls who are NOT playing for their high school team are eligible for participation in the CYC High School Basketball Program.  Per MSHSAA rules, players may not play for both during the same season.

CYC High School League  

• 8 game season runs from January through early March
• Practices are held in Ascension's and other local schools gyms one night a week, Monday through Friday
• Freshman/Sophomores & Junior/Seniors
• Two skills divisions: recreational and competitive
• Games are played at the Ascension and other parish gyms

CYC Cards

All participants must obtain a CYC ID card.  You can securely apply for a CYC ID Card online at www.cycstl.net.

Registration opens after High School tryouts

Fees

High School League:                   TBA per player. 

Uniforms

Teams may provide their own uniforms.

Coaches

All teams must have at least one coach registered coach.  This coach is responsible for having completed items 1) Protecting God's Children and 2) Prevent & Protect as listed in the Coaches Corner section.
