This position is responsible for overall management of the annual Ascension Soccer Tournament including the overseeing of registration, setting of tournament fees, brackets and rules, marketing of the tournament, working with outside vendors for tournament scheduling, golf carts, trophies, etc. Responsibilities can be delegated to other team members (e.g. Soccer Director, AAA members, volunteers, etc.) or new positions created.
In 2018, the tournament was a team effort and we expect that will continue to be the case going forward; we're looking for the Tournament Director to take leadership role of the process.
This position receives free soccer for all children, and meets the annual work duty requirement.
